Spring-loaded Sliding Battery Tray for DIY Projects or Testing and Charging Vape Batteries Use six 3m x 10mm screws and some wire to construct this tray. My spring, which measures 16mm x 78mm, came from the hardware store, but I'm confident that other springs will work just as well. In fact, a spring of similar size can be found in a standard 110mm RC car shock. This project is still untested and should not require any additional supports.
