This is to mount the Gen L case in the original controller board location. There is room under the case to route wires. Also a couple of openings to pass cables through. If you are mounting a hotbed mosfet, keep in mind that one of the mounting holes will be underneath it. Edit: Reoriented part, also the mount is 7 mm thick and doesn't have chamfers on the print surface side.
