This is a complete overhaul of my initial remix of filament access "gate" and blower fan cover.\r\nI've added a left side "plate" that includes ventilation slots and a way to secure the extruder wires, which will prevent them from rubbing against the thermistor or heater block on the 20mm block.\r\nIncluded in the files is the STL for the "gate". I designed it with its own air intake for the extruder fan and, since I prefer not to rely on the arm to hold it in place, I've made it so that the gate stays open during printing and the Z rods move freely. On top of that, I added a "post" to hold an elastic or rubber band. I experimented with "hook and eye" type fasteners, but I found that a simple rubber band does the job without any hassle.\r\n\r\nTo install, remove your existing add-ons. You'll need just two screws to secure the assembly to the extruder carriage using the blower fan holes. You'll have to fiddle with the extruder wires around the new plate and, if you want to use the horseshoe fitting, fit your extruder wires - these can be locked in place by using a small zip tie. There are holes at the top for another zip tie to keep everything from moving.\r\nI've also included v5, so you have a choice of which one you prefer.\r\n\r\nI'll add photos later.
