A8 E3DV6 63mm Bowden Carriage - ABL12mm - Optional Chain

Just a small contribution to an almost perfect E3DV6 Bowden Carriage and Chain from TNS. I needed a good ABL-Sensor mount, but never was a fan of the Back-Side one and I was looking forward to installing a Fancy-Chain. So I decided to put an ABL-Sensor mount onto the Carriage. I moved the ABL-Sensor mount as far to the right as I was comfortable with, making sure it wouldn't get bumped into the Frame or something else and stay close to the nozzle. Also, the ABL-Sensor mount point is aligned with the Nozzle on the Y-Axis, so you just have to set a X-Offset, which is 28mm on this one. People were asking if the Chain from TNS would fit when the ABL-Sensor was sitting on the right side of the Carriage. The answer was sadly no. The Chain mounting Plate that TNS designed was screwed onto the normal Carriage Backplate and was blocking the spot for the ABL-Sensor. The ABL-Sensor was too long and wouldn't fit... So Chain or ABL - Your choice! "Dang it, I want BOTH!!" So: Get rid of that "extra" Chain mount thingy and design a new Cap, which normally just holds the Extruder in place. Seriously, that was a way too easy printed part anyway. It has now included the Chain-Mount as you can see on the pictures. Sorry for the picture quality, but I forgot to make pictures 'before' I put all together... And my crappy Handy-Cam didn't make it better, sorry again... You better watch the parts with Thingiverse-Preview. I included all needed parts in this Package: The Carriage itself, which is the 63mm E3DV6 one with the 12mm ABL-Sensor mount The Cap for Chain mount Also included to complete the package are: A "normal" Cap The Chain Motor mount The Chain pieces If you decide to print the Chain, you will need "27!" chain pieces, one more than for the normal chain of TNS. The mount point moved closer to the Carriage, to stabilize the mounting point as it was too weak in my opinion, that's why you need one more piece now. Thanks again TNS for your Design and to all the other Guys who worked on the Chain before TNS remixed it - I really appreciate all that nice share a like of you, and of course your hard work. Thumbs up! Moo, Otter Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.15 - 0.2 Infill: 40% Notes: Supports are only needed for the Motor-Mount (everywhere!) and for the Chain-CapMount. If you print the Cap as it is in the STL file, you only need support from the build platform. I printed all parts in 0.2 resolution, but I guess it would be cool to print the chain parts in 0.15 or 0.1 for better tolerances - You need to sand them a bit in 0.2 resol. I included screenshots of my Cura settings - Had good success with these (Could be different for you - Just to point you in a direction!!) Post-Printing: Sanding, sanding, ... more sanding!
