A8 Anet Auto level sensor holder
thingiverse
I installed this auto level sensor knowing it's crucial for a solid foundation. To get that first layer printed perfectly, I had to design a new attachment method since the others were fixed at the top of the fan. Instead, I chose to secure it between the radiator and fan. This setup also helps as spacers to prevent the fan from pressing directly onto the radiator. Use an LJ18A3-8-Z/BX (18mm diameter - 8mm distance) or a LJ12A3-4-Z/BX (12 mm diameter - 4mm distance) sensor for optimal performance. Connect the Blue wire to the negative terminal of the Z endstop connector. Connect the Brown wire to the positive terminal of the Z endstop connector. Connect the Black wire to the signal pin of the E endstop connector. These sensors are designed to work within a voltage range of 6-36 V, but I've found they function well even on 5 V.
