I finally gained the confidence to attempt an Intruder... no Electric 6 though... meh.. how often would you utilize a Prowler in an armor game anyways...\r\nMaybe a Phantom will be next ( after catching up on some tanks and stuff... got to be ready for a game next game club meeting and all I've got are Bundeswehr and some Russians ).\r\nYou'll still need to create your own bombs/missiles; they're too winky to print with a plane. I'll have to do a bomb set eventually, I guess.\r\nThe fuel probe is good, but I'm just lazy, impatient, and rough with initial cleanup.\r\n\r\n\r\nmodel in full dimensions in Blender 2.79b and scaled to 1/100 for the .stl file\r\nScale down to 35% in the slicer.\r\n\r\nAs usual, the dice are 15mm for reference\r\nIf I can't print it, I don't post it.\r\n\r\nSomeone pointed out that the plane looked a bit skinny, so I double-checked, and they were right, but not by much. I revised the .stl to the latest version. The picture with two planes side-by-side shows the two versions for comparison. Not a big difference, but it's fixed now ( except for the other things that prevent this model from being a scale display piece...).\r\nThe new version is on the black die.\r\n\r\n2may19: added an EA6B Prowler.\r\nI haven't printed it yet, but there's no real reason why it shouldn't print. The changes are mainly lengthening the nose, adding the bulge to the tail, and making some ALQ-99's.\r\nIt all sliced very nicely... it's just not printed yet.\r\n\r\nFinally got around to printing the Electric Six, after fixing a minor issue on the mesh.
