Although this isn't a fully realized 3D printed item, it still provides a useful upgrade for your A6 printer. Up until now, there wasn't a suitable X-axis spanner available, so I took a closer look at how things are set up on the printer and discovered that there is just enough space to install a correct spanner. I decided to create the fork of the spanner from aluminum because it's significantly stronger and easier to manufacture from an 8mm U-shaped bar. It can also be printed. To install the spanner, you need to remove the side panel and push back the X-axis bars slightly to take out the roller. Then, place the roller parts into the aluminum fork. The assembled spanner fork is shown in Pic 2. Next, take the side panel and drill a 3.5mm hole at the specified location (12mm from the top and 5 mm from the square hole). Put the belt on the roller, push the thread through the side panel, add a washer, and apply the nut. Put everything back together and re-tighten the belt. For easier operation, I added a press-fit knob that will fit over the nut.
