A6 Tech Holographic Advertising Board
thingiverse
This idea originated from the Warlayer Printing and Painting Group on Facebook. Start by cutting a piece of 3mm thick clear acrylic into an A6 size shape. Next, print overhead transparencies of your preferred graphics or clear waterslide decals, then adhere them to both sides of the acrylic. One side should be printed in reverse to create a mirrored effect, giving the illusion of a hologram. After that, insert the acrylic into the frame. There's 1mm of clearance on each side and bottom, as well as 0.5mm thickness either side of the acrylic, to account for dimensional tolerances from printers and materials. A 5mm bleed is needed around each edge for the graphic, so the actual window size will be smaller than A6. When printing, ensure there's about 2mm on each edge inside the frame, so the applique edges aren't visible.
