A6 Fan Duct Modified

A6 Fan Duct Modified

This is an enhanced version of Nick Rimmer's Fan Duct design. To reduce howling and optimize airflow, I slanted the top edge. Additionally, I enlarged the fan's dimensions at the top since the original print fell out during printing and damaged my 50MM fan. This revised design ensures a snug fit and prevents potential damage to your fan or printer. If you like Nick Rimmer's original fan but want to eliminate howling, this item is for you! There are more advanced fan ducts available, but this one meets the "ideal" standards that ANET should have included with their printer. It provides basic yet effective cooling and doesn't produce an unpleasant whining sound. Alternatively, you can opt out of supports and add extra layers to the top for a solid, smooth finish. I chose to use supports in my print.
