A450-1 Quadcopter
thingiverse
I chose the APM 2.8 flight controller because it's affordable, user-friendly and easy to mount. The flight time is up to 20 minutes with a 5000 mAh battery. I designed this quadcopter for aerial photography with space for a gimbal and GoPro-sized camera. It runs on the APM 2.8 flight controller and 1000 Kv brushless motors. The power system consists of a power module connected to the battery, which powers the flight controller without any extra wiring. I used a power distribution board attached to the other side of the power module. The motors are powered by a 3-cell (11.1 V) 5200 mAh battery for 20 minutes of flight time. The parts needed are: APM 2.8 flight controller, power system, power distribution board, 1000 Kv brushless motors and a 3-cell (11.1 V) 5200 mAh battery. The motors require 30 amp ESCs. I used Printrbot Plus printer with the following settings: no rafts, supports, resolution 0.2 and infill 25%. This is my first drone design, and it was a huge learning curve for me. Now that I have learned a lot, feel free to ask me any questions.
