I'm going to make a "reprap-Prusa" printer by printing out all the parts myself. Some of these parts will be too large for most printers to print, so I'll try to split them up into smaller pieces that can fit on any printer. For the filament feed system, I've remixed http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:53125. When working with the "A4-Y-Z-8mmStopx4.stl" file, you'll need five parts in total - two for the z-Axis and three for the y-Axis. The two z-Axis stops go on the right axle, one at the front and one at the back, to lock down a 0.5mm oval insert that fits into an 8mm hole, allowing the bed to move smoothly. Place the bed in the front position before locking down the right front stop, and place it in the back position before securing the right rear stop. Here are my print settings: * Printer: Home-made (bed size 314x428) * Rafts: No * Supports: No * Resolution: 0.3 * Infill: 10% or 15% for most parts, but some small pieces need 100% * Feedrate: 80mm/s * Number of Shells: 3 (2 at the bottom and 1 at the top) * Notes: All parts are made from PLA, printed on a glass bed heated to 210/215 degrees Celsius with a "hair spray" finish. Some small parts require a thicker layer thickness. Plywood sheets are approximately 5.6-5.7mm thick.
