This alternative holder provides a capacitive bed leveling sensor solution for Geeetech A30 users. The front of the extruder placement is problematic because heat from the extruder affects the sensor's sensitivity and its accuracy changes accordingly. Furthermore, if the nozzle fails to register a sufficient distance from the bed, rotating the entire assembly upward causes the sensor to increase in height even more. This situation poses a risk of damaging the glass build platform.
