A30 BMG Direct Drive
thingiverse
Many thanks to Tom Keidar and Michael Parker for their incredible designs that sparked my creativity and inspired me to create this remix. Most BMG direct drive designs fall short of being truly "direct" due to a small tube between the extruder and heatbreak, which is intended to lift the motor on the X gantry. In this design, I've taken a different approach by turning the entire extruder and eliminating the tube between the extruder and heatbreak. This design is specifically tailored to fit perfectly with the Geeetech A30 machines. Build Material: Recommended materials include PETG or ABS, but PLA+ with some paint will also work. For certain parts, you can even use normal PLA. Since there's no longer a tube to hold wires (i.e., no boden tube), I recommend using a cable chain.
