The 1.75mm Filament Guide has been re-engineered from a design by Friecke. It utilizes high-performance bearings, either ABEC9 or 608ZZ models, to ensure smooth operation. Additionally, the assembly requires an M3-5 cap bolt that is 13mm in length, as well as an M3-5 nut featuring a plastic insert and a M3 washer. To install the bearings, a vice must be used to press them into place carefully. The plastic bearing post diameter needs to be sanded to achieve a snug fit without causing it to break off. Due to the rollers' close proximity, the filament will not jam or hang up as it is pulled through, allowing for flexible placement of the filament roll behind the bracket. This design ensures that the rollers keep it aligned and feed it into the extruder smoothly.
