A20M 5015 fan duct
thingiverse
I designed this custom fan duct to fit snugly on a 5015 blower fan, replacing the underpowered factory fan on the Geeetech A20M with precision. I aimed to utilize the factory cage while still accommodating the 3D touch, ensuring seamless integration. This duct creates a precise pattern directly below the nozzle, providing optimal airflow. To witness its effectiveness in action, check out this video: https://youtu.be/NzyEmW-KReA With just enough clearance, this design accommodates the newer style long nozzle, but I'm not convinced it will work with the older short nozzle. To ensure a successful print, use a higher temperature material such as PETG or HTPLA, as the duct sits close to the hot end and may warp when no air is flowing through if normal PLA is used. While ABS can be an option, warping may still occur due to thin walls and extensive surface area, compromising clearance. This unique design was inspired by the Anet A8 Fan Duct Spaceship edition (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2088006), but it's my original creation.
