This is an 8-cell battery pack design for use with A123 brand 32113 lithium iron phosphate (LIPO4) rechargeable automative battery cells. I ran 10mm x 0.2mm nickel strip, usually sold to be used to spot weld battery projects, through the slots at the battery ends. Depending how I made the connections, the resulting voltage can be 12v or 24v. Note that I have two version of this, one with rounded ends and one with one flat end. If you print two of the flat-end designs, you can hot glue them together to make one long pack that can hold 16 cells. This works pretty well for e-bike batteries. I have included a photo showing one of these 16-cell packs I made by gluing two together. I suggest that when you slice this, you set the wall lines to 4 or more for maximum strength; you'll end up jamming the cells in there pretty tightly, so you want the housing to hold up to that pressure.
