This lets you reuse an old Amiga A1010 external floppy drive by putting in a Gotek PCB. The exterior panel takes a rotary encoder, 0.91" OLED display (glued into place with hot glue), and moving the activity and 'power on' LEDs (3mm) to new locations above the two selection buttons, also glued in with hot glue. The push buttons for selecting options still work despite only sticking out about 0.50mm from the exterior panel. I installed a new exterior panel without the hole for the rotary encoder, and also moved the LED holes back to their original position above the two selection buttons. This project involves making a tray to hold the PCB and attaching it to the exterior panel.
