A1 With plastic Shim

A1 With plastic Shim

The A1 corner idea intrigued me; however, I disliked the notion of installing a metal shim by drilling and the requirement of elevating the glass. This new concept removes those inconveniences! To avoid such issues, I devised an external shim using 3mm screws similar to A1's but bought 100 M3-0.50 x 20mm screws and nuts from Amazon at $5 per box. You tighten the corners as instructed (not too much), but now you can raise or lower each corner of the bed using just plastic screws! This design has additional advantages, such as replacing worn-out plastic components easily without any metal contact with the Kapton heat spreader or glass. It's my first functional design and contribution to Thingiverse, so feedback is appreciated. Also, remember to rotate each piece before printing, and they fit perfectly around the smooth rods.
