My passion for fencing is now on full display! A foil is one of the three swords used in the sport of fencing, all of which are made of metal. It's extremely flexible, with a rectangular cross-section and weighs less than a pound. Just like the epee, points can only be scored when contact is made with the tip, which, in electrically scored tournaments, features a spring-loaded button to signal a touch.
