A toy cable car "Liftche"

A small cable car toy design i made for my 4yo. son

a thick thread 0.5-1mm is needed splicing is done at the cabin. tie up/screw the pulley to a piece of furniture or screw to a clamp of some sort for easy removal. you'll have to invent some sort of attachment for the motor side since i didn't want to make it motor specific. Use a bolt a nut and a cordless drill for the most minimalistic setup.. or sketch a handle and some bearing support to crank it manually.

The needed hardware is shown at the pictures. Change it upon your own needs this is just something i thought other kids might like.

Just an idea - for the drive wheel i am using a gearmotor with a 1mm shaft and encoder - attaching it to a motor driver and an esp32/arduino allows me to add rampup/down and a 3button remote on my phone it also stops when the torquer is exceeded (the driver has adjustable current thr. alarm pin)

Caution: due to the small particles that might break off/detach and could be swallowed/choked upon - make the toy for kids that are at an appropriate age - my wife's a lawyer - needed to add this :)

Have fun, Ivan - Sofia, Bulgaria
