A simple TOP
thingiverse
A rapid printing project is producing a top, which with a good spin will stand upright for approximately 50 seconds. This one measures 32 millimeters in diameter and utilizes a 3/16-inch wooden dowel as the spindle. Cut the dowel to 2.5 inches (62 millimeters) long and sharpen each end using a pencil sharpener or a knife. Then cut the dowel in half to create two tops. Print the top with 100% fill to achieve maximum weight around the rim, similar to a flywheel. Slide the dowel into the axis and secure it in place with a drop of glue.
