A Simple Desk Fan
thingiverse
This is a straightforward desk cooling fan design. It may not be compatible with every fan model, but it works well with this specific one from Banggood: https://www.banggood.com/custlink/mDmDPtRs8n. To power the fan, I used a boost converter and connected it to my computer via a USB cable, which can be purchased at Banggood as well: https://www.banggood.com/custlink/3v3GtBlcS2. If you prefer not to use a wingnut, you can substitute it with this alternative from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:163883. When connecting the fan to a PC or laptop and receiving an overcurrent warning, trimming off the lights often resolves the issue. This design does not require any additional support to print. E1: I added a fan duct to improve airflow direction. E2: I incorporated spacing for a 4mm fan grill and adjusted the design so the fan can lie flat.
