A Sentient Spacecraft Enclosure for Amazon Alexa Echo Dot
thingiverse
I've been heavily relying on Tinkercad as my go-to design software for crafting objects suitable for 3D printing over the past few months. In this time, I've been itching to create something beyond the standard forms made up of simple shapes such as Squares and Circles from the Tinkercad Basic Shapes library. This desire led me to scour YouTube for tutorials on creating "Organic Shapes". As a starting point, I opted to design a straightforward enclosure for my Amazon Alexa/Echo Dot sitting quietly in my living room, looking rather bland. In the 80s, I had watched a sci-fi movie called "Flight of the Navigator". Drawing from hazy recollections of that film and the fact that Echo Dot is essentially an A.I. system, I decided to design an enclosure that closely resembled a Sentient Spacecraft.
