The original tripod design was functional, but it lacks the ability to adjust angle easily. If you're interested in modifying this design, here are the instructions: 1) Download a top on thingiverse.com for a 1/4-20 x 0.75" thumbscrew, and purchase a 1/4-20 tap drill; 2) Print all four parts of the tripod head, legs, and any upgrades; 3) Tap the 1/4" hole with your tap drill, insert the thumbscrew into the hole; 4) Attach the legs in their respective slots; 5) Mount your camera to the tripod head; 6) Enjoy capturing your desired angle.
