This is my second rotary knob upgrade for my Ultimaker 2+ 3D printer. I'm excited to report that the Ultimaker robot produced prints with exceptional quality. Removing the original rotary knob from the Ultimaker: Behind the existing rotary knob, a transparent protective casing shields it from view. This casing is illuminated by LEDs that add a touch of sophistication. At the rear of the casing, there's a small opening that requires careful manipulation to access the potentiometer. Using a screwdriver, I gently pushed the knob through the opening, taking care not to apply too much pressure. I've uploaded new photos that demonstrate this process more clearly.
