People have been fascinated by push puppets for as long as they can remember, and I've always had a soft spot for their simple yet clever, humorous and inspiring charm. I've been thinking about making push puppets for quite some time, but somehow it never happened until now, when a MakerBot Replicator 2 suddenly appeared on my desk (literally!). Here's the question: For this model, I used a regular steel spring from another push puppet. It would be great if the spring could be printed with the other parts. If you have any ideas for printing a spring for this toy, please let me know! I have some experience with 3D modeling, which dates back to the '90s. The 3D shapes that make up the push puppets are very basic, and so are the operations on these shapes.
