This is a functional replacement for the $35 metal handle they sell for the metal simple. It even has tappable (can use a metal M3 bolt to tap) holes for mounting the easily removable spool holder that printrbot provides an stl file for.https://www.youmagine.com/designs/printrbot-simple-filament-spool-holder The spool holder is shown attached to the handle in an included photo. Instructions I printed this with 0.2mm layers and a 0.4mm nozzle on the metal simple. The part must be rotated about 40 degrees on the Z-axis to get it to fit the print area. It is imperative to turn on support generation for this part since the two 12mm rod clamping areas are free hanging.
