I need to drill a hole and tap the threads, and also I have a drill press that I have to calibrate. 1: The first thing you need is an M3X20X3 drill bit: M3 thread pitch X9. 2: Then you will need an M3 tap with 6 threads (6/7mm external diameter, internal diameter 1mm). 3: Next, you'll need a 603zz or 623 tap with 6 threads. I have a 3D printed calibrator for the drill press, and I've set the height of the drill press to 10mm. You should use it to drill the hole. 4: Drill the hole using the M3 drill bit, then remove the drill bit from the hole and insert the tap into the hole. Use the calibrator to guide the tap, and make sure not to overtighten it. 5: Once you've tapped the hole, remove the tap and use a wrench to tighten the threads. 6: Repeat steps 4-5 four more times, using a new M3 drill bit each time.
