A parameterized hypocycloid gearbox for a NEMA 23 motor part of the Cogburn design for Team Grit Robotics
thingiverse
Team Grit Robotics engineers are currently crafting an enhanced robot design to qualify for the DARPA DRC Challenge in June of next year. The plans will be shared openly with the community through resources like Thingiverse. At present, we have created a gear box that works seamlessly with the accompanying python script featured on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3617. This process results in two detailed dxf files that are subsequently utilized to produce a gearbox boasting an impressive 100:1 ratio in a slender form that's barely thicker than a skate bearing, though other bearing choices remain a possibility with the flexibility provided by the script.
With this file you will be able to print A parameterized hypocycloid gearbox for a NEMA 23 motor part of the Cogburn design for Team Grit Robotics with your 3D printer.
