The only change from the version by cmh, is I have replaced the bar on the back with 20x6mm aluminium bar. I am also not using the 3d printed spring seat. I cut the top of the cap that came with the dial gauge and turned a small seat to sit on top. The overall length is the same as the 3d printed spring seat. The two halves of the handle and 4 of the pins are glued together with epoxy.Use the "Drill guide" as a template for the length of the bar and the hole locations.A source of springs in Australia.Champion C102-32 https://www.championparts.com.au/product/c102-32/ . These are available from a number of suppliers in Australia. They are 65mm long. I cut mine down to size.Print SettingsPrinter Brand:WanhaoPrinter: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2Rafts:Doesn't MatterSupports: NoResolution:0.2mm Notes:The version by cmh can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3220573I added a photo of a jig I used to calibrate the gauge.A simple RHS frame to hold a 300Kg crane scale. Uses a length of 10mm threaded rod. A dome head nut with a hole drilled through the center holds the nipple and the spoke head passes through a cut down 10mm bolt with a hole drilled at right angles. The idea for the calibration jig came from here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgsz7l1GWoI and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3322907 Category: Hand Tools
