Yes, I know, I'm just as bad as those big box stores because I've already started designing, printing, and publishing Christmas items even before Halloween. Only four essential printed parts - Track.stl, Auger.stl, Cap.stl, and Star.stl - are required to create a fully functional "A Mini Merry Marblevator Christmas Tree," with additional ornament parts coming soon if desired. Here's a video of the prototype: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsCQIRXqm_c. The next video shows the prototype running at various speeds, from 1.5vdc up to 6.0vdc: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99CamFug-yE. Finally, here's a speed test with an Angel on top: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_C7dn4Jbk0. I designed this project using Sketchup Make 2016, sliced it with Cura, and printed it on my Ultimaker 2 Extended - I'm eagerly waiting for the new Ultimaker 3!
