A-Mazing Stairs consist of 3 types of blocks that can be attached one to another using 6 types of joints to create amazing stair structures. All elements were thoroughly designed to allow attach stairs and landings in different directions, so they can generate an intriguing maze of stairs, where each flight and landing has its own gravity. The idea was inspired by M.S. Escher's drawings. Additionally there are models of walkers that can be attached to the stairs structure with adhesive pastilles. They are very schematic people just to have some stair users on their way. As I had problems with printing them in one piece, I had to cut them through. So there are walkers Up and Down, marked with L - left or R - right. After gluing related pieces you get a happy walker ready to conquer your crazy stairs. In the set there are 6 types of joints, but usually I use only 2 of them: A and B. Joint A allows to combine a flight and a landing, so they fit smoothly. It also allows to join 2 landings in perpendicular arrangement. Joints B, C and D are useful for landings assembly in different combinations. There is also a very simple joint E, but I haven't used it in my structures so far. Joint F allows to assemble 2 flights of stairs. I tried to create as small blocks as I could, so they wouldn't take too much space and weren't too heavy. The limitations were in the slides - if they were smaller, the attachment parts would be too weak and fragile (in PLA). The result of thorough design are slides/guides that are not too tight and either not too loose, so that the structure doesn't fall apart, yet it can be reasonably easily assembled and disassembled multiple times.
