A.M.DUUC1.0 - motorhome for space exploration
thingiverse
Welcome to our scientific project of the team LEGOLACTICS from Catalonia, Spain, for our participation in the First Lego League "Into Orbit" challenge. Our scientific project addresses the issue of housing in initial manned missions on Mars. We believe it would be more suitable for the first home on Mars to be mobile and allow for exploration of the planet. To this end, we have designed A.M.DUUC1.0, a prototype for a mobile and modular housing that can be printed in 3D. We worked with experts from various fields: design, movement, energy, resources, food, and navigation. In our opinion, three A.M.DUUC1.0 modules would be sufficient to accommodate the first manned mission for six people. Additionally, A.M.DUUC1.0 could also be useful for exploring remote regions on Earth, particularly polar regions. The design of A.M.DUUC1.0 can be downloaded from Thingiverse.
