A novel light fitting was constructed swiftly to suit the existing facility. The light features COB LEDs arranged on an aluminum rail with 57 LEDs at 2.5mm intervals, powered by a direct voltage of 6 volts per rail connected in series. The wooden cabinet is made from beech plywood, molded with steam and 3.5mm thick. Turning parts are crafted from beech and beech plate. Matt foil depositors range from 0.4 to 0.8mm. This light operates at low voltage, not through household electricity, thus posing no fire hazard (as per German regulations). Ventilation is provided through a distance housing for the plate. Assembly is required, but mounting hardware is currently missing, which may cause delays in installation. The product specifications are available in SolidWorks 2013 data formats IGS and STEP.
