This is a custom kite flyer you can see right here. A highly decorative kite flyer made possible by utilizing damaged (by humidity ) filament and some easily printed parts. I created a fun kite flyer for your desk or book case. The owner of this kite must love flying it, but how does he never get bored? Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple Black Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: .3 or .2 and higher resolution settings. Infill: At least 10% infill is recommended. Post-Printing: Assembly Instructions: First, try inserting the filament into the kite hole. If it doesn't work, use a small drill bit or round file to enlarge the hole. Then, secure the kite and filament "string" to the kite flyer with Crazy-glue. Design Process: I started by creating the basic shape of the design using 123D Design. Next, I used Meshmixer to smooth out the surface for a clean finish.
