Behold, he has beheld sights... abhorrent sights! A youthful form, held fast by terror, and eyes corrupted by the foul curse of sightlessness. Yet he remains. His vibrant mind, a captive within a fragile and damaged young body, exists in a world of vibrant beauty, yet seen through his own eyes –eyes that lost the gift of sight long ago, leaving only the curse to remain. And thus, a world of hate and cruelty is all that passes through the fractured lenses. Once he was an adventurer, venturing forth into vast lands outside his small community. A beautiful world lay before him, yet the only world gummy kind knew was the safety of their home. The young bear, full of ambition and spirit, set out to see new worlds beyond their kingdom's gates through his own eyes, and in turn, all of gummy kind would see the outside world through his eyes. His youthful ambitions fueled his quest as he explored, discovering countless wonders that stood just beyond the kingdom's gates. The farther he traveled, the more wondrous things he found. His map of the surrounding area was almost complete when the young bear came upon a small gummy village. The yellow glossy walls containing the citizens seemed almost unbreakable. Had it not been for a small hole torn into the walls, the young adventurer never would have made it inside. Satisfied and content with discovering a new civilization, the young bear drifted off to sleep. War cries and the foul scent of sugary blood filled his mind as screams of terror echoed through the air. The sun's vengeful glare had fallen upon the kingdom, and the young bear stood up, trudging through the cursed liquid that now flooded the streets. In the center of town –the center of horror, every surface covered in the cursed horror that filled his mind. Only after the young bear walked closer did the terror in his eyes truly take hold, a single gummy bear barely alive due to the pile of other bears shielding him from the blinding heat of the sun. Rushing forward, he grabbed the bear. Only then did the young adventurer realize his own legs were almost gone, but even so, he trudged on. And thus the young adventurer carried the bear back to his homeland, hailed as a hero, but at what cost? His old eyes looked upon his homeland, warped and distorted, twisted by the horrors he had seen... Awful things!
