I think a gear extruder design is pretty straightforward, requiring parts that are readily available. The only potential issue I see is that the thickness of the large gear is 14mm, but overall it's not a major concern from my perspective. Hopefully you'll like this design! I'm happy to share all the files with you. To build such an extruder, you will need: 1. Three 625ZZ bearings 2. Set screws (M5 x 20 x 1) 3. Hexagonal screws (M5 x 55 x 1) - these can be replaced with longer ones if needed 4. Flat washers (M5 x 4 and M3 x 6) 5. Socket head screws (M3 x 25 x 1 and M3 x 30 x 2) 6. Nylon lock nuts (M5 x 1 and M3 x 1) 7. Hexagonal nuts (M3 x 3) 8. Springs (two required) 9. A joint with a screw thread of M6 10. An insert to cooperate with the joint, with an outer diameter of 8mm and a length of 10mm - this part needs to be glued into the hole on top of the holder 11. An extrud wheel, which I designed for use in my pictures - it's a common part that should be easy to find I don't have enough time to make one myself, but I'll show you a picture and explain how to assemble it. As for the size of the two springs, I'm not entirely sure, so you'll need to figure that out yourself as a maker. The transmission ratio is 4:1. You may also need to add washers between the big gear and the bearing - I forgot to consider the shape of the bearing in my design.
