A door stop that actually works

thingiverse

This is a door stopper that actually gets the job done. Well at least on carpets. When printed at full scale it can handle floor-to-door distances from 0.2 inches to 1 inch. Adjust accordingly. It should also work great on concrete or rough floors. I'm not convinced it will be as effective as a rubber stopper on smooth floors such as tile or hardwood. In this case, wrap a thick rubber band around it lengthwise. If you have ideas for improvement or an issue that you think could be overcome, definitely leave a comment. I can update the design.
