A couple of changes to Crossbow
thingiverse
I made two modifications to Tech2C's original design to make it easier for the handle cover to fit. These changes simply reduced the Trigger and Firing Lever thickness from 5mm to 4.2mm, and I also decreased the circular steps' thickness that sit at the bottom of the locating pins in the handle. My CAD software indicated these steps were 0.5mm tall, working out to be two and a half layers when using a layer height of 0.2mm - completely impractical to print with this setting. Without access to the original source files, I was unable to alter them. Four files are here, one is a complete plate of parts except for the arrow, measuring about 135mm x 100mm, the second file is a new plate featuring my two changed parts also uploaded separately. I'd like to thank Tech2C, hoping they won't mind the above changes I made to their very elegant design. Instructions: Print out the full plate for an entire set of parts. If you have already printed out the parts posted by Tech2C, print the new components individually or using the STL file that contains both pieces. I used identical print settings as Tech2C - a layer height of 0.2mm and 30% infill, with Skeinforge used for slicing.
