A Colossal Statue of the Weather God Hadad

myminifactory

The Weather God Hadad is depicted here, holding firmly in one hand a lightning-rod and in the other an axe. Adorned on top of the round cap are bull horns, well-known symbols of divine authority. Originally, the two lion heads at the base were not attached. King Panamuwa of Ja'udi commissioned this statue to ensure his protection under Hadad's watchful eye during his reign.
