I needed a third hand that also included a circuit board clamp, and the Lötgnu design for clamping circuit boards and cables really stood out as a particularly elegant solution. Combined with the similarly elegant collapsible third hand, I ended up with my somewhat inelegant solution. The baseplate for mine isn't as nice as it could be; there are certainly cleaner ways to achieve this. The baseplate is my design, but the clamps are the same as the Lötgnu and the threaded extensions for the third hands come from the Collapsible Third Hand. This version has been modified slightly since I built mine to take some of the pressure off the clamps; if you have problems with it, let me know. Another thing to keep in mind is that clothes pegs in Australia have a slightly different size spring than those found elsewhere. I had to tweak my springs a bit to get a good fit.
