I didn't go to work this morning because I realized yesterday that we're running low on bread, probably tomorrow too. So I went all the way out to the faraway bakery to buy some bread. I also asked what other household items were missing, and got a long list of things to buy from various places. It's more efficient for me to purchase everything at once rather than wasting time going out every day. The bakery was over 2 kilometers away from my house. I had to be picky when choosing vegetables because many sellers have lots of customers buying a wide range of goods from all types of people, so you have to wait in line and take turns. This means that most Egyptians can get the food they need, so don't believe anyone who says some people are starving because those families just keep having more kids than they can handle and expect the government to feed them for free without asking anything in return. After I got back home, I had lunch and took a nap before waking up to work. But I didn't have any ideas until I came up with making some pots. When I created them, I thought they looked really cool, so I brought them here and gave them the name based on the bakery day I had today.
