A Chinese bannerman meets a tiger

thingiverse

A Chinese bannerman meets a tiger on the Kwang Si/ Tonkin border in the 1880s. The bannerman is dressed in full attire, immediately recognizable as belonging to the 鑲黃旗 (Second Banner), for quick passage through fortified gates and checkpoints and to facilitate requisitions from local commanders, some of them possibly past enemies as Taiping rebels. His mission is to assess French progress in their encroachment on Tonkin. He can rely for his safety on his swordmanship, and on a modern Winchester repeating rifle. Scale 1/72.
