The jar in question features a reproduction of Duamutef, a god with the head of a jackal, who is tasked with safeguarding the stomach and represents the eastern direction. According to myth, Duamutef was also under the protection of Neith, a powerful goddess. This particular Canopic Jar is a modern creation and bears an image of Anubis on its side. It's worth noting that Anubis was often associated with mummification and the afterlife in ancient Egyptian culture.
