A.C.S. Shield - 9th May 2015

The creative spark behind the A.C.S. shield comes directly from "Bucket with Hollow Sphere and Import SVG," a fascinating YouTube video by ProDrafting at https://youtu.be/Jeg8A84NSUA. In place of the original design, I replaced it with the .SVG file of my alma mater, Anglo Chinese School (A.C.S.), where I was enrolled between 1980 and 1989. This marked the beginning of the patterned sphere's existence. But then I had a change of heart. Instead of proceeding with the original plan, I inserted a new sphere into the center of the patterned sphere, effectively creating an intersection point (the Target source mesh remained the same as the patterned sphere, while the Source solid mesh was the newly introduced sphere). And so, this innovative design became the starting point for S.H.I.E.L.D. or rather, something else entirely... The orientation during printing of this magnificent A.C.S. shield can be clearly seen in a print screen picture taken from CURA.
