That is to say, while at velocities near ship’s operational speed bulbous bow reduces the drag, at lower speeds it may actually increase ship’s overall resistance in water.The aim of this short study was to find alternative ways of reducing hull’s wave drag that could be efficient at wider range of speeds, ship loadings and maybe even at different weather conditions.
