My wife picked up this IKEA Lansa 'rack' with a clear intention to utilize it for hanging measuring spoons on her kitchen wall. Unfortunately, she hadn't realized that the Lansa product actually functions as cabinet handles, which cannot be installed using the provided hardware. I created custom mounting brackets to save the day. The inspiration came from my wife's initial name - starting with A, I crafted the brackets in a similar letterform. Originally, I was going to give them a silver coat, but she strongly emphasized that they should stay red. The design draws from Tosh's brilliant wall shelf creation on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:559294 Below you'll find instructions and resources for the custom mounting brackets: http://tinkercad.com/things/0i25dllAwtJ Simply extract the letter A shape from the IKEA pallet, add holes where necessary, and adjust their size as required. Feel free to ungroup the design components for easier customization.
