I encountered a frustrating issue with the combination of my Amazon Basic tripod and Canon M50 camera. The shoe on the camera prevented me from accessing the battery or SD card. This was a major inconvenience that needed to be addressed. Determined to find a solution, I took matters into my own hands and decided to design an improved tripod shoe. By using Fusion 360, I redesigned the boot with a crucial modification: adding a spacious access area on the side of the shoe. I'm hopeful that this revised design will work seamlessly with not just the Canon M50 but also other camera models.
