A Better Center & Tenon Marking Guide
thingiverse
Several years ago, I stumbled upon a center finding gauge based on parallel arms, but at $200-$450, I just couldn't justify the expense. Now that it's within my budget, I've decided to take matters into my own hands and prototype my own version. Sometime in the future, I plan to add an edge guide to this design and possibly a doweling attachment as well. The tenon marking template is set at 1/2", but I'm providing the .STEP file so you can easily modify it to suit your needs. Unfortunately, it's not parametric just yet. All threads in my design follow ANSI (SAE) standards because they're by far the easiest threading system for me to work with.
