A Base for a Pendant Lamp Shade Featuring a Square Pattern The initial plan called for installing a four-cell battery holder and boost converter within the base. However, I ultimately only created a cavity to fit the boost converter, allowing me to allocate space for turning the lamp into a pen holder. Powering the 5050 LED Strip via USB Adapter A USB 5V power source is boosted to 12V, powering a 60cm long strip consisting of 36 LEDs. The voltage is set at 10.5V and the strip draws 750mA from the adapter at 5V.
